We know that we could not possibly conduct this valuable program without the active and faithful assistance of so many people who have chosen to help us. We can assure each of them that we will continue to do our best to make their efforts worthwhile.
The Toys for Kids of Vermont organization is operated 100% by volunteers, it has no employees. Its administrative and operating expenses are close to zero . We have been fortunate in being able to "scrounge" things that would have been destined to the landfill like the red barrels and the colorful posters that adorn them, and even the paint on the barrels. Others donate transportation for collecting and distributing the toys, the storage space to house our seasonal operations and to store the barrels during the off-season.
